Community Place Hub Mental Health Program

Everyone deserves access to support, connection and opportunity — no matter their age, background or circumstances. Located in the heart of York-South Weston next to Weston Station, the Community Place Hub is a free, welcoming space where residents come together to access programs, build skills and support one another.

Working alongside a network of local service providers, we offer barrier-free programs designed to meet you where you are.

Group of people gathered in a brightly lit community center or event space, with some seated and others standing, engaging in conversation and arts activities. The room features a large green mural on the back wall, colorful artwork, bookshelves, and large windows letting in natural light.

What We Offer

  • Drop-In Program: Stop by any day for free access to information and referrals, affordable lunches, printing, copying, faxing and internet — plus social and recreational activities that bring the community together.

  • Health Access: Navigating the health system can be overwhelming. Our Health Access program helps community members find the right care, connect with the right services and understand their options — with a collaborative, client-centered approach that puts you first.

  • Peer Support: Sometimes the most powerful support comes from someone who truly understands. Our peer support program creates space for community members to connect with others who share similar experiences.

  • Weston Sewing Hub: One of Toronto's first community sewing hubs, the Weston Sewing Hub offers free instruction in sewing, alterations and repairs for all skill levels. Learn to repurpose and redesign clothing from rescued fabrics — building practical skills while saving money and reducing waste.

  • Wellness Fairs: We regularly host wellness fairs that connect community members with local health and social care providers, making it easier to access the supports you need all in one place.

  • Additional Programs: We also offer a range of mental and physical health and wellness programs, as well as dedicated programming for youth, seniors, and diverse communities.
